Our excursion will take you to the most emblematic spots in the city. The city&#39;s name reveals some of its history: Casablanca is the Hispanicized version of what was originally Casa Branca&mdash;Portuguese for &ldquo;white house,&rdquo; the color of the homes in the old town. Modern-day Casablanca offers a balanced mix of ancient and contemporary architecture, as reflected in the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque. Towering above the Atlantic Ocean, its 700-feet tall (210&nbsp;m) minaret stands as a city landmark. Our tour will then take us to Mohammed V Square, surrounded by the Court House, Central Post Office and, the Wilaya Building. Our final stop will be the scenic La Corniche oceanfront, offering beautiful panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Casablanca

We&#39;ll leave for Chefchaouen, a gorgeous blue-hued town nestled high in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before we visit the city. The medina&#39;s winding streets lead to the 15th-century casbah, now a museum housing a lovely Andalusian-style garden and a small art gallery.

Full-day trip to Chefchaouen

We&#39;ll leave from Malaga and head for Granada. Granada is the former capital of the last Islamic realm in southern Iberia&mdash;a kingdom that left its mark on the architectural heritage of the area you will discover today. We will visit the Alhambra, whose translation from Arabic&mdash;The Red One&mdash;refers to the sun-dried bricks used to build the fortress&#39;s outer walls. This true wonder of Moorish art stands as one of the most prestigious testimonies of Muslim presence in Spain. We&#39;ll then wander through the gorgeous gardens and courtyards of the Generalife, the former summer palace of the Nasrid rulers. Full-day trip to Granada

Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, enjoys an ideal location on the Atlantic coast and an exceptional place in the country&#39;s history. As one of four Imperial Cities, Rabat brims with features so unique that the entire area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We&#39;ll visit the Chellah medieval fortified necropolis, built by the Marinids over the ruins of an ancient Roman colony and part of a complex that included a mosque, minaret, and royal tombs. Today, the location has departed from its original purpose and has been used as a music venue since 2005. Afterwards, we&#39;ll gaze at Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque and the symbol of Rabat. Commissioned near the end of the 12thcentury by Caliph Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the tower was intended as a minaret of what should have been the largest mosque in the western Muslim world. Construction stopped after the Caliph&#39;s death, and the minaret was left standing at a height of 140&nbsp;ft (40&nbsp;m). The incomplete tower, what remains of the mosque, and the modern Mausoleum of Mohammed V form an important historical and tourist complex in Rabat.

Rabat

Leaving from Agadir, discover authentic Morocco on a tour of Taroudant, one of the most fascinating destinations in the country. Encircled by 16th-century ramparts, the lively medina and its souks offer a profusion of local treasures&mdash;from silver jewelry to leather, wrought iron, wood, and ceramic items. We&#39;ll take a tour of the ramparts to gaze at the impressive city gates. Bab Al-Kasbah, the main and oldest tower, offers a unique view over the nearby casbah and gardens. We&#39;ll continue our trip by heading to Tiout. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant (no alcohol served). Afterwards, you&#39;ll be free to take a stroll through the Tiout palm grove at the foot of the casbah. Lastly, we&#39;ll stop off at a cooperative where we&#39;ll learn all about the impressive properties of argan oil.
