In more than 40 years, we have pioneered the way to river cruising on many rivers and regions, in France and in Europe: the Rhône, the Gironde, the Douro, the Po in Venice being just a small part of it.
Many original destinations, where only we can take you aboard our boats, Andalusia over the Guadalquivir navigable to Seville, the Loire and the Elbe. These last two are rivers the company was able to conquer by building two paddle boats, adapted to shallow water.
Expanding to new destinations year after year, our excellent understanding of every river sailed allows us to open new itineraries every year. The launch of French canal cruises in 2013 on board luxury barges welcoming maximum 24 passengers is one of the numerous new itineraries and highly popular destinations we added to our offer. Our large choice of destinations makes it possible to cruise all year round in Europe and worldwide, including on the Mekong in South-East Asia and on Lake Kariba and on the Chobe and Zambezi rivers in Southern Africa. Conquering new rivers and adding new possibilities to discover the world is part of our travel experts’s mission.

The founder, Gérard Schmitter who sadly passed away in 2012, has left behind a passion for innovation, the desire to find the means to make his customers' dreams come true.
