On the Douro, one of the most popular rivers offered by CroisiEurope, the fleet grows almost year by year. Thus, in 2017, the MS Miguel Torga was added to the list of cruise ships present in Portugal and has, for the first time a swimming pool on the sun deck. Then, in 2019, the MS Amalia Rodrigues was inaugurated. This new category 5 anchor boat offers large spaces in the cabins and is also equipped with a swimming pool on the sun deck. Thus, expanding, once again, the CroisiEurope fleet on the Golden River. With this new boat, the CroisiEurope fleet is once again expanding.
Shorter than the other ships of CroisiEurope, our fleet in Portugal are designed to navigate on the Douro, the Golden River, which is often narrow and winding, with many locks.Nevertheless spectacular.
Departing from Porto, the ships below will take you on a cruise through vineyards, quintas and valleys tucked into the heart of the traditional lands of the country.

Welcome on board the MS Infante Don Henrique! Renovated in 2014, the interior is nicely decorated in fuchsia and plum colors.
Most of the cabins are located on the upper deck, they have panoramic large windows. Those on the middle and main decks have large windows.
Located on the main deck, the restaurant is where all meals are served during the cruise. The lounge / bar is located at the front of the middle deck and will welcome passengers during evening entertainment, aperitif games ... The sun deck has a swimming pool, armchairs and sun loungers, offering a place to relax while enjoying the panoramic views of the countryside.

Named after the famous Portuguese navigator (better known as Magellan) who completed the first journey round the world, the MS Fernão de Magalhães sails on the Douro. Passengers can admire the unique landscapes, sculpted by nature and shaped by man, all along an enchanted valley where the famous port wine is produced.
Completely renovated in 2015, the MS Fernão de Magalhães is an intimate-sized standard ship, measuring 75 meters long and 11,40 meters wide. It can accommodate 138 passengers, in 71 cabins spread over three decks. The size of each cabin is between 11 m2 and 14 m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The majority of the cabins are located on the upper deck and have large panoramic windows. Those on the middle and main decks have large windows. The decoration is stylish and its atmosphere both elegant and friendly, and in perfect harmony with its surroundings. The pastel shades refer to the region’s “douceur de vivre” and the green hillsides. The restaurant is located on the main deck and offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. Situated on the middle deck is the lounge / bar with a dance floor. The sun deck has a pool with comfortable sun loungers and a large shaded area, the ideal place to relax.

Located on the main deck, the restaurant offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. This ship’s interior pays homage to the Queen of Fado, Amalia Rodrigues, the famous Portuguese singer and actress.
The warm terracotta tones suggest the streets in Lisbon and the accessories the fadista wore on stage. Light-hued woods and wicker bring to mind the guitars that are part of the genuine southern Portuguese spirit.
Built in 2018 and christened in 2019, this Superior-category ship offers ample space in each cabin and public areas. Large picture windows on the Upper and Mid Decks display all the scenery as the ship cruises. These decks share four suites. Two of the suites have private patios with sunloungers.
All the meals during the cruise are served in the restaurant on the Main Deck. Onboard fun, music, and dancing happen in the lounge and bar on the Mid Deck bow, where a cozy patio also provides great landscape views.
The Sun Deck has a pool and sunloungers that everyone can enjoy.

Launched in 2015, this elegant-designed ship with a bright, modern feel has ample space throughout for passenger comfort with splendid panoramic windows. Its elegant taupe, bronze, and white interior tones combine perfectly with the blue shades and these conjure up the Portuguese tile designs and colours.
The upper and middle deck cabins have French balconies. These decks share four suites. Two suites on the upper deck come with sun loungers. The large windows on the main deck provide great views from the privacy of your cabin. All meals during the cruise are served in the cozy dining room on the main deck. All onboard fun,

Built and inaugurated in 2017, this ship highlights the famous wines and architecture of Porto. The burgundy color, blond wood and black steel rims remind us of Port wine and its barrels. The riveted steel structures and the photos at reception refer to the architecture of the Eiffel bridge which gives the heart of the city its special character.
Large windows allow you to enjoy the landscapes from the restaurant or from your cabin. The restaurant is located at the front of the main deck and the lounge / bar at the front of the middle deck. The cabins are spread over 3 decks: cabins with French balconies are on the middle and upper decks. A swimming pool and sun loungers provide a maximum comfort on the sun deck.
