CLASSIC: Guided tour of the Schönbrunn Palace and part of the city. Vienna, the cradle of music, is streaming with activity around the cathedral, the opera, and Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Emperor of Austria and his family.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus(2) concert hall. After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.
We'll return to the ship. You'll be free to explore the city on your own in the afternoon. Join us for an optional (not included in the packages) excursion: Horse-drawn carriage ride though Vienna.
After dinner, join us for the optional excursion for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability.)

We'll cruise along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley all the way to Melk. Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Visit Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held prisoner. We'll return to the ship. In the afternoon, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. We'll return on board and leave for Passau. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.
We'll set out to explore Passau in the company of hostess, strolling the narrow romantic streets and admiring is Baroque-style buildings. We'll then cruise to Regensburg through the night.
Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Regensburg and the Walhalla hall of fame which overhangs the river. We'll return on board in Kelheim and cruise the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal to Nuremberg.
We'll arrive in Nuremberg. Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Tour of Nuremberg and tasting of the famous gingerbread. Nuremberg is Bavaria's second-largest city and an energetic place where the nightlife is intense and the beer is as dark as coffee. During our tour of the city, the ship will sail to Erlangen. We'll cruise to Bamberg.
We'll spend the morning cruising to Schweinfurt. Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Visit Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river its narrow streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses and workshops. It is one of the most beautiful towns on the historic Romantic Road. During our tour, the ship will sail to Gerlachshausen where we'll board it again. We'll cruise through the night.
Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Tour of Würzburg, nestled in a beautiful, hilly location on the river and possessing a wealth of history. We'll also visit the Residenz, former residence of the prince-bishops. Our ship will continue on to Karlstadt, where we'll board it again at the end of the morning. We'll spend the afternoon cruising to Wertheim.
We'll leave to explore Miltenberg in the company of our hostess and discover this charming, very typical German village. Its marketplace surrounded by half-timbered houses, its Grande Rue and former Town Hall make Miltenberg a unique town and the "pearl of the Main". We'll cruise to Frankfurt.

DISCOVERY: Panoramic tour of Frankfurt and ascent of the Main Tower.
We'll return on board and cruise to Mainz. Gutenberg's hometown, Mainz lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main and is a perfect blend of past and present. Its age-old cathedral is not to be missed. You'll be able to explore the city in the company of our hostess. Tonight is our gala dinner and evening.
We'll spend the morning cruising to Strasbourg. After lunch on board, we'll reach Strasbourg and enjoy a free afternoon in the city to do as you please. We'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. We'll spend the night cruising towards Mannheim.

The afternoon, join us for the optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Rüdesheim by touristic train, tasting of the famous wines of the region and guided visit of the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments.
DISCOVERY: Hiking through the vineyards in Rüdesheim.
In the evening, enjoy time at leisure to discover the Drosselgassse.
We'll cruise along the most beautiful section of the romantic Rhine, passing the legendary Lorelei Rock, where lush vineyards and castles stretch as far as the eye can see along both banks. We'll cruise to Cologne, and take advantage of a stopover to discover the city with our hostess. We'll then return to the ship and begin to cruise towards Amsterdam. Tonight is our gala dinner and evening.
The day will be spent cruising.

CLASSIC: Guided tour of Amsterdam. The Dutch capital is indeed a truly delightful city with a rich and fascinating past, offering its visitors a striking contrast between traditional Dutch architecture and other more unusual landmarks such as the Red Light district.
DISCOVERY: Amsterdam by bike.
This afternoon, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Volendam and Zaanse Schans. The evening is free to do as you please.
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
For navigational safety reasons, the company and the captain are the only authorized persons who can modify the cruise itinerary.

(2) The tour of the Konzerthaus might be replaced by a tour of the Musikverein or the opera if it is booked for shows or not available.
(3) Depending on mooring availabilities, the stopover in Rüdesheim may be preceded by a stopover in Bingen ; the schedule of excursions may be modified.
(4) The Port of Amsterdam may unexpectedly decide to change the mooring places for cruise ships. In case of modification, an alternative will be set up as close as possible to the city of Amsterdam.
